🌸 Meet Amelia – A Brave, Beautiful Soul Looking for Her Forever Home 🌸

Amelia’s journey is one of resilience, love, and hope. Found in a rural area of Soperton, GA, she was tragically hit by a car. Her owner, unable to afford the care she needed, made the difficult decision to let a local rescue, Diamonds in the Ruff, step in and give her a second chance.

With two broken femurs, Amelia faced an uphill battle—but this little warrior never gave up. Thanks to a successful surgery, she is on the road to recovery, slowly regaining her strength and learning to walk again. To help with her healing, we would love to find her a home with a pool, as swimming will be an incredible therapy for her mobility. As part of her adoption, we are offering five laser therapy sessions at our vet to support her continued progress. She also has an 8-week checkup on March 15th with her orthopedic vet in St. Augustine.

But Amelia is so much more than her past—she is an absolute sweetheart with a heart full of love to give. She may be a bit timid at first, but she warms up quickly and adores her people. She is fantastic with kids, loves other dogs, does great with cats and even chickens! She’s an old soul in a puppy’s body—gentle, snuggly, and incredibly chill. She’s crate trained, doing wonderfully with potty training, and just wants to be by your side, giving kisses and cuddles.

Now, Amelia is searching for a family who will cherish her as much as she will cherish them. A home where she can snuggle, go on adventures, and continue her journey of healing with possibly therapies and she would LOVE a pool to swim in.
