You MUST be approved to meet our dogs in a foster care setting. If you are approved, please contact your adoption counselor for more information on our pups. If you are NOT approved, please get approved by applying at www.lrrof.org. Those applicants already approved have the first chance of adoption.

Meet Cooper

Meet Cooper! 🐾

This big, lovable Lab is a playful pup with a heart of gold! Weighing around 70 lbs now and likely to fill out to around 90 lbs, he’s ready to find a family that will help him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be.

🐶 Personality & Training: He’s a big puppy at heart and still working on his manners, but with his treat motivation, training will be a breeze! He’s about 98% housebroken and doing great with crate training—he stays quiet through the night.

🐾 Good with Other Dogs: He gets along well with female Labs, and while he hasn’t been fully tested with males yet, he’ll likely do just fine. Cooper would like an active household and maybe some furry friends to play with.

🚪 Training Needs: He’s still working on door discipline and leash manners but has already shown improvement in just one day! He’s a quick learner and even did well running alongside a bike.

🐾 Puppy Energy: Like any young Lab, he can be jumpy and mouthy, but with a little training and structure, he’ll be an incredible companion.
