Adoptable Dogs
You MUST be approved to meet our dogs in a foster care setting. If you are approved, please contact your adoption counselor for more information on our pups. If you are NOT approved, please get approved by applying at www.lrrof.org. Those applicants already approved have the first chance of adoption.

Meet COLE
My name is Cole! I’m an 8 year old playful guy. I had a rough past & my family did not take good care of me. Luckily lLab Rescue got me outta the shelter & set me up in a foster home where I’m getting good food & exercise to get me in great shape for my new home! When I meet new people & dogs on a leash I bark loud & pull on my leash because I’m nervous & barking keeps them away. I will need some patience to help me learn that how to meet new people in a less stressful way. Once I meet them we are all good tho! I’m a super sweet boy. My foster mom has figured out the trick to introducing me to new people at home with no stress but new people out on the street are still scary! When I met my foster sister Lab I wasn’t sure what to make of her b/c I didn’t learn appropriate doggie manners. I sorta came off like a bully for days but now we share toys & get along fine. Still, it is tricky to introduce me to new dogs & I play rough which a lot of dogs might not enjoy. Because of that my foster mom thinks I’ll do best as an only dog. I’m a good boy in the house. I like snoozing on the sofa and LOVE all the toys but I don’t destroy people things. I get way too excited about cats so it’s best if I could find a home without cats. I’m staying in Key Largo and can’t wait to find my forever home!
