SASHA
Meet SASHA
Meet Sasha, a resilient and loving 2-year-old black Lab mix who deserves a forever home full of understanding and patience. This sweet girl spent the first year of her life outside with little human contact, leaving her a bit anxious. She spent the next three months in foster care getting used to life on the inside and she loved it. The majority of year two was spent with a family that adopted her but due to a family situation was reunited with her original foster family and has spent the past two months re-acclimating to life in a home.
Due to her unusual upbringing, Sasha is scared of loud noises, especially trucks and motorcycles. She needs encouragement to go outside and needs work on walking on a leash. She will let you know if she has to go out. Sasha feels really safe in small places. She has been known to burrow behind a pillow or under a bed when she feels stressed. Sasha is smart and a quick learner. With a little time and compassion, she will prove to be a loyal and loving companion.
Sasha is gentle and super affectionate, craving companionship and a safe space where she can thrive. She has small child history and is great with other dogs. She loves to chase lizards and she can play fetch all day long. Tennis balls are her most precious toy. Please consider adopting this lovely girl.
