Freya is a sweet, spirited 2-year-old girl with a big heart and boundless energy! She adores running and playing, especially with her foster siblings, but she’s just as happy to settle down for snuggles with her foster family. Whether she’s curling up at your feet or keeping you company on the couch, Freya’s affectionate nature will steal your heart.

Freya is a quick learner and already knows basic commands like “sit” and “stay,” as well as the meaning of “no.” She’s housebroken, sleeps soundly in her foster parents’ bedroom (and occasionally their bed!), and walks beautifully on a leash with a harness. She’s also a big fan of toys, belly rubs, and tasty treats.

Freya is a fantastic watchdog with a bold bark that she uses when meeting strangers or hearing unusual noises, but she’s never shown any aggression toward people or other dogs. However, she does sometimes get a little too enthusiastic during playtime with her foster siblings, so she’ll do best in a home with dogs that can match her energy level.

Because Freya thrives on companionship, she’s still working on crate training and overcoming separation anxiety. A home with a securely fenced yard will let her run and play safely, and she’s shown no signs of trying to escape.
