Meet David

David is a young, playful Labrador who thrives on interaction with his human. While he can occasionally be mischievous, like testing his off-leash recall, he responds well to tangible rewards like treats, food, or a ball. Highly food-motivated, David is eager to learn and work for rewards.

On-leash, David follows commands but may need occasional reassurance. He benefits greatly from structure and routine, such as a daily 5-minute training session focusing on "heel," "sit," "place," and "stay." This helps sharpen his training while keeping the process light and fun with treats as positive reinforcement.

Regular physical exercise, like hiking, is ideal for David. It exposes him to new environments, enhances his adaptability, and provides an outlet for his energy. During the transition phase, crating is recommended when he can’t be supervised.

David may be cautious with new people at first, so a calm and patient approach works best. Building trust with food helps establish a positive relationship. He’s housebroken, well-mannered, and enjoys bursts of playful energy with his human. David would thrive in a loving home with children aged 12 and up.
