Adoptable Dogs
You MUST be approved to meet our dogs in a foster care setting. If you are approved, please contact your adoption counselor for more information on our pups. If you are NOT approved, please get approved by applying at www.lrrof.org. Those applicants already approved have the first chance of adoption.

Meet Blaze!
Blaze is a beautiful 7 year old black Lab who is very healthy, active, happy and wants to be your 24 hour a day companion. He is a people dog and not a dog park dog. Expect him to be playing with his toys or sitting at your feet if you are watching TV. He'll follow you wherever you go. If you have to leave him alone to go to the store, expect a very enthusiastic greeting when you return home. Blaze is very exuberant and sometimes as a result he will forget his good manners and jump up to greet you or your guests.
His ideal adopters would be physically fit adults who are at home most of the day. He needs a patient and loving family who will continue the training to desensitize him because he is afraid of other dogs. He is currently being trained by a professional dog trainer and he would do well with the right family who will reinforce his training. Blaze is warm and loving and an incredible companion.
