Description:

Hi there, future family!

My name is Buck, and I'm an adorable, lovable yellow lab, about 5 years old, weighing over 100 lbs. I'm what you'd call a gentle giant—well, at least with my people! I admit, new faces and unfamiliar animals make me a bit anxious, but don't worry, a tasty treat is usually all it takes for me to warm up and start wagging.

I'm crate-trained and comfy hanging out in the crate for about 5-6 hours. Just be mindful not to leave me longer, or I might get bored and chew the crate padding. Speaking of chewing, I've been known to sneak a snack off the counter, so keeping temptations away is wise!

I'm a big ole couch potato who absolutely adores attention and affection. I'm on Prozac for anxiety, which helps me stay calm and happy. My prior foster family had kids and other dogs, so I'm accustomed to a bustling household—though I might bark to alert you when someone new arrives. I do have a prey drive toward smaller animals like squirrels, birds, and lizards, so cats aren't a good idea.

I proudly know commands like "sit," "stay," "come," "off," "down," "go potty," and "go get in your cage." I'm eager to please, but I still pull on my leash during walks. I promise I'm working on it!

Could you be the loving, patient home I've been dreaming about? I can't wait to snuggle up and fill your days with unconditional love.

Hope to meet you soon,
Buck
