| Description: | Meet Denver! 1.5 years old | 50 lbs | Yellow Lab Mix Denver is a fun-loving, easygoing pup with a heart as big as his love for squeaky toys! Rescued from a cruelty case, this resilient boy has left his past behind and is ready for a fresh start with a family who will give him the love, attention, and playtime he deserves. This young Lab is full of life and joy but can also settle down nicely for cuddles and quiet time. He’s great in the car—just relaxes and enjoys the ride. He adores the water, can’t get enough of fetch, and will happily entertain himself (and you!) with his favorite squeaky toys. Denver plays well with other dogs and has been successfully dog-tested with both males and females. His play style is on the high-energy side, so a canine sibling who enjoys romping and wrestling would be a great match! He’s also passed both resource and food testing with flying colors—he’s a well-rounded, happy-go-lucky guy. One important thing to note: Denver does show signs of anxiety when left alone. Because of this, he would thrive in a home where someone is home most of the time—at least while he transitions and settles into his new life. He would also do best with another friendly dog in the home to keep him company and provide reassurance.
