Description:	Doug’s story started at a Homestead Fire Station, where the firefighters took him in until the rescue could step in. Now, this 12+ year-old gentleman is looking for a loving home to call his own! Don’t let his age fool you—Doug still has plenty of pep in his step! He trots along on walks like a pup half his age, taking his time to sniff every inch of his surroundings (because every good walk deserves a thorough investigation!). He’s great on a leash, fully potty trained, and an all-around well-mannered guy. Doug is as sweet as they come—gentle, affectionate, and a total social butterfly with both humans and other dogs. While he hasn’t had experience with cats or kids, his friendly nature makes him a wonderful companion for the right home.
