| Description: | Jake is a beautiful brown Labrador and at 11 is doing well. He is neutered and UTD on shots. He is excellent with other dogs but unknown about cats (although his prey drive seems low). He does have some disc/hip arthritis issues. He had been shaved for severe matting and some patchy alopecia and hopefully will be fully coated in his beautiful brown fur by mid-summer. We believe he may be experiencing some minor vision issues since even a small step seems to require a few minutes of studying before moving forward. He has been getting a half mile walk once and sometimes twice a day, and has lost a few pounds. Outside of a nibbling habit and paw licking (which is being addressed), Jake is pretty low maintenance and loves attention. He will sleep through the night and will often sleep nine hours at night. Jake deserves his forever home – come see him in Vero Beach!!! |
